Coming Soon!..

Summer 2025 Registration Opens Monday, January 6

From last year…

Summer 2024 is the 7th year for our youth mountain biking skills and adventure camps and we are very proud to announce our expansion! We will be offering TEN full weeks of Summer camps at one of 4 ideal locations in the greater Charlotte area. CLTMTB Camp is also transitioning to a brand new name: WHITETAIL MTB. Named after the gorgeous Whitetail Deer who share our forests - we aspire to teach riders to navigate the trails with the effortless control, speed, and skill of these magnificent animals.

Our Summer Camps are open to competent riders age 8 - 16 years old. “Competent Riders” means all participants are required to be able to ride (balance and pedal) their bike, use the brakes, shift gears, and have some experience riding trails (enough to know that they like it and want to do a LOT more of it). Riders should be on a mountain bike in very good working order with 24" wheels or larger to ensure their ability to enjoy the rough terrain of mountain bike trails and maintain a speed comfortable for the entire group.

Our camps run daily from 9:00am - 4:00pm, 5 Days per Session, Monday - Friday. Riders are dropped off between 9:00 - 9:30am and picked up between 3:30 - 4:00pm. A complete schedule of our 10 camp sessions and online registration links can be seen below.

We focus on teaching and reinforcing the proper techniques of riding mountain bikes using  PMBIA (Professional Mountain Bike Instructor Association) teaching fundamentals to create a program that is suitable for young riders. We will also have a lot of fun off-the-bike enjoying a wide range of other age-appropriate activities! Our goal is to train young riders to become skilled, safe mountain bikers who respect the trail and are ready to meet challenges, both on the bike, and off.
